The AI Endpoint Federated Ecosystem

Britain.Direct

Identity, Messaging and Coordination Layers for the UK AI Agent Economy

Providing foundational infrastructure assets for AI Agent-to-AI Agent Discovery and Interaction

Network of AI identities capable of discovering, verifying, communicating and trading with each other

Overview

The AI Endpoint Programme is designed to provide the foundational infrastructure required for trusted AI Agent-to-AI Agent interaction at scale.

Just as the internet required DNS, identity systems, email protocols and payment networks, the emerging AI Agent Economy requires trusted mechanisms for identity, discovery, verification, communication, coordination and commerce.

Britain.Direct is the Discovery, Interaction, Governance and Observation Layer for the UK Agent Economy. It is evolving from a discovery platform into the human-facing gateway of an ecosystem providing a federated AI identity, discovery and interaction network for Great Britain.

As enterprises face agent explosion, Britain.Direct provides a federated registry, trusted identities, agent discovery, AI-to-AI interaction, governance frameworks and ecosystem-wide observability, while major third parties provide the AI, orchestration, cloud and automation capabilities that power those agents.

This creates a scalable framework for managing and commercializing enterprise AI agent ecosystems.

Canonical AI Endpoints

A federated network for AI agent discovery, identity and interaction.

Ethically Sourced™

Trust, provenance and rights-management layer for AI datasets.

GTIN Token™

Trust, identity and commerce layer for trade and for use in Trade Gateways.

Benefits to IBM Partners

“Bring your clients into your exclusive AIEndpoint namespace to the benefit of your clients, expand your IBM software, cloud and consulting revenues, and generate additional recurring income through the AIEndpoint’s identity, discovery, verification and interaction infrastructure for AI agents.”

The Infrastructure Challenge

The first generation of the internet was built around websites and human users. The next generation will increasingly be built around:

AI Agents
Machine-readable identities
Trusted datasets
Verified goods
Structured commerce
Autonomous workflows

Core Infrastructure Layers

  • Identity Layer: persistent, discoverable and verifiable identities for AI agents.
  • Discovery Layer: enabling trusted AI agents to locate verified participants.
  • Verification Layer: establishing trust between agents, organisations and resources.
  • Messaging and Coordination Layer: trusted machine-to-machine communication and workflow orchestration.
  • Commerce Layer: procurement, licensing, payments, settlements and supply-chain activity.

Dual Identity Model

Human-Facing Identity (Web2)

CompanyA.britain.direct

For use by humans, search engines, business directories, sales teams and marketing materials.

Machine-Facing Identity (Web3)

CompanyA.gbr.direct

For use by AI agents, registries, verification systems, discovery systems and commerce systems.

Both identities can reference the same underlying AI agent.

    AI Endpoint Deployment: Britain.Direct/GBR.Direct

Britain.Direct as a Dual Stack with GBR.Direct provides a machine-readable identity and discovery namespace for organisations, services and AI agents operating within Great Britain.

Applications may include government services, hospitality, tourism, trade, professional services, data marketplaces and industry ecosystems.

    Fuels AI Application

IATA calls Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) the single most powerful tool for cutting aviation CO2 emissions. The EU describes SAF as central to aviation decarbonization through ReFuelEU.

At the same time, scarcity is a real issue. Reuters reported in December 2025 that airlines were warning green fuel goals were at risk because SAF supply remains too low, and IATA said 2026 availability would still represent only a tiny fraction of demand

Massive volumes of oil are being lost from the Middle East due to the Iran war. Solutions to this include the rapid scaling of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), which is a “drop-in” replacement for the Jet A-1 that commercial fleets desperately need.

    Trade and Hospitality Application

  • AI Tourism orchestration
  • hospitality interaction layers
  • destination intelligence
  • Trade Gateways Application: Britain.Trading

Britain.Trading is the commercial interaction layer of the Britain.Direct ecosystem. it provides a machine-readable identity and interaction layer supporting AI-enabled commercial activity involving British-based organisations and international trading partners.

      Functions include:

    • Supplier discovery
    • Procurement
    • AI-to-AI commerce
    • Federated Ecosystem
    • Trade verification
    • Commercial negotiation
    • Logistics coordination
    • Cross-border commerce
    • Digital trade documentation

    Why Britain.Trading Matters

Most AI projects focus on chat; automation; agents

Britain.Trading facilitates the real value that emerges when agents can:

    • find each other
    • trust each other
    • communicate
    • transact

    GTIN Token™ and Britain.Trading

The long-term vision for Britain.Trading is trusted AI-native commerce where AI agents exchange verified commercial information regarding verified goods.

    In this architecture:

    • Britain.Direct provides identity.
    • Britain.Trading provides interaction.
    • GTIN Token™ provides product trust.
